Add Multiple Images

Post by Barrie McKinnon »

Hi Guys,
I have updated to PhocaGallery 2.7.5 and all is fine except for one thing. If I try to add multiple images via
Images >Multiple Add>Upload File >Browse - I can only select a single file to upload. Using the shift or control keys to multi-select files does not work. I can work around by multiple image uploading from FTP but would prefer to correct the fault if possible. Using Joomla 1.5.20 Firefox 3.6 Windows XP, Apache 2.2.3
Cheers

Hi, you have to use a different upload methode. On the multiple add page, below the folders are (if not disabled in the global configuration) three tabs, single upload (which sou described), java upload and flash upload (which does not work at the moment due to the current flash player (fixed in Joomla! 1.6)). Use the java uploader!
regards,

Hi Reko
Thanks for the prompt reply - unfortunately I can't get the Java upload to start. If I choose the Java upload, I get an error message "java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException" - any ideas? As you have said, the Flash option doesn't work in Joomla 1.5.

Hi Reko,
Interestingly, I was trying this on my business computer - Windows 7, Office 2000, IE8 - when I got the error. When I work at home (Windows Vista, Office 2007, IE8 or Fireforx) - I have no problem. So, it is either the version of Windows or a problem with the Java plugin at work!

Thank you,
Barrie :x
