Multiple Category in Frontend.

Post by Knight »

Hi together.

I try to make round about 20 sub gallries and 1 main Gallrie per Year.

The issue is that my customer will use a gallery complete from the front end. The person has not high skill in IT. so it would be "dangerous" let him to the back end.

How can a person , with the highest access for the frontend, make more then one main gallery and round about 20 subgalleries .

thanks in advanced

Hi.

Well maybe this could help me.

When I understand it right one user can make more than 5 subgaleries.....
I could change the user once in the year for the main catagory, because of the the main catagories are the years (2010,2011,2012)

I as admin could give every year a new Login and allow so a new main catogry making by my customer....

But in the gallery is standing that I can make only 5 subgalleires?

Or maybe an other idea?
i as an admin could make catagory and subcategory in the backend.....but how could an other user over the frontend upload photos in this new catagories?

BR

i think this can be changed in the backend (global configuration).

you can give upload rightsfor any existing category to a specific user (in the category-edit-screen), but than its not possible for that user to create a new category (only within his main category).
