category image question/problem

Post by pslane »

Why doesn't the last category image in this list completely fill out the box?
Thanks

It's just the last 2 category images that came out like that. I must have done something different with those.

URL is http://thefeatherranch.com/tfr/index.ph ... &Itemid=91

Front page: http://thefeatherranch.com/tfr/

Thanks,

Yes, I think so too.
Check: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Parameters --> Images and Windows Size Settings -->
Small Image Width=(should be)50
Small Image Height=(should be)50
If the size of width and height is not 50, delete your thumbnails of the last two category(s), change the value of width and height to 50, save your settings and create the thumbs once more.
Kind regards,
Benno

Thank you, Benno.

I will do that. I think some of my detail images might need that, too. But since there are hundreds of them, I hate the thought of deleteing them and re-loading them.

Hi Benno,
I deleted the images for the thumbnails like you said and when I went back to reload them I'm getting a new error message. What' causing this? Now I can't load images.

Thanks for your patience.

Hi,
try to set:
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Parameters --> Thumbnail Creation Settings -->
Pagination Thumbnail Creation=Yes
Save your settings!
I hope this will solve your memory issue.
Kind regards,
Benno

Benno, my thumbnail creation pagination setting was already set to yes. I've been reading alot of archive posts on this problem and would like to try going up on my memory in php.ini. But how do I find php.ini in my FTP? Please give me some instructions on how to add more memory.

Strange thing is that before I deleted the images to change the size configuation, they were uploading just fine.

That`s not possible via FTP. You need root rights on your server to do this. If you have no root rights, contact your ISP.
Kind regards,
