Watermark problem

I am sorry because this is impossible for me to read all articles about watermark here by search. I did try my best to find my problem from search result,but I don't find out any answer,so decide to open a new topic and ask.

I got no problem with gallery installation
no problem with upload image
no problem with create folder

but just can't upload my watermark images on FTP.(I was thinking if this is my FTP problem)
I can't put images on "images/phocagallery/" folder in my ftp which make me can't create watermark.
What I can do??

Also,Is it watermark only show on small thumb but not on the image when people click a pop-up box????
then what is the meaning as a watermark??

You must find a way to upload your watermark-large.png to images/phocagallery/
(eg. contact your provider)

No, see documentation:

* Upload your own watermark image (PNG format) into your category folder placed in /images/phocagallery/ folder. For each category and for each thumbnail size (large, medium) you can select a different watermark image. Name of watermark image must be 'watermark-large.png' (large thumbnails) and 'watermark-medium.png' (medium thumbnails).
* Enable Create Watermark parameter in Phoca Gallery Default Settings.
* Select the position of the watermark in your image in Phoca Gallery Default Settings.

And at last, if you have uploaded your watermark(s), you have to delete your old thumbs, and create them new.

Also,I don't understand a bit about "old thumb",if this is the fresh install for me (no images/watermark was created),why there will be an "old thumb" in thumb file? (Sorry for my stupid sense)

If you have created up to now no thumbnails, you don`t need to delete any.
