{phocagallery} tag shows in site on public page??

Hi All,

I can't figure out what i a missing. I have installed phocagallery and put :

{phocagallery view=categories|imagecategories=1|imagecategoriessize=0}

in an article.

When i visit the page i see:

{phocagallery view=categories|imagecategories=1|imagecategoriessize=0}

rather than the gallery. I am an admitted Joomla newbie (developer for 15 years though) and cannot figure this out.

What could be causing this? Thanks!

Do you enable the Phoca Gallery Plugin in the joomla! Plugin Manager?

Hi Thanks, for the reply.

It doesn't actually show in the plugin list! Can i manually add a Row to the database?

I notice if i use a link like:

index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=categories in the link property of a menu item the page opens with phoca gallery..

But using that tag syntax does not work! thanks!

No, I don`t think so.
Download the Phoca Gallery Plugin and the Phoca Gallery Button Plugin (to create valid code) once more, install and enable them.
