Wrong rights on newly created images

When I upload an image via phoca gallery the thumbnails are correctly created but I can't see them because the rights are only 600.
I already changed the JFile thumbnail creation to no and I also setup the ftp-layer in the Joomla settings.

I have manually changed the rights of the images/phocagallery , componentes/com_phocagallery/assets and administrator/components/com_phocogallery/assets to 755 because during installation they were all set to 600.

Any ideas?

Solved it. I think it was the same problem where the GD-library used a user with limited rights.
I set up the FTP in Joomla instead. Uninstalled Phoca Gallery and reinstalled and everything works fine now.
