Hi, the "stop creating" is a link to stop automatically creating in case e.g. something is not working while creating. So if you will stop you can then work with Phoca Gallery and test e.g. settings on server, test info site, etc. After solving the problems you can enable it again so thumbnails will be automatically created.
If you have problems while creating thumbnails, check the information below the process and search this forum (GD problems, memory problems, permissions problems, etc.)
