No Image category, but blank page after upgrade to 2.7.1

After upgrading to 2.7.1 a blank page is presented after category list.
I checked the site, a link provided by Benno, but I have no means of debugging either by php.ini or else.
Putting the global reporting on is, as might be expected, nothing reporting at the crucial point/page in question.
I "solved" it for the moment by downgrading to 2.6.2 (my latest known to work flawless version).
I will just have to be patient to see if someone else will come-up with the same problem and/or a solution.

Ok, the problem is solved.
The installation of the update to 2.7.1 wasn't correctly completed.
As I did a unzip/ftp->tmp/271 install (in view to server/db time-out),
I got the blue ok, but I should have got the choice menu install/upgrade.
After checking the details of the FTP, it showed all of the zipfiles, but 'some' of them were zero bits.
Correcting this by manually transfering the incorrectly ftp files and a renew install,
it worked out fine, without any data and/or settings lost.
Great piece of component! Thanks for thinking with/for me.
