catagory list layout don't show image category

Hi all,
I just update from version 2.3.x to 2.7.1 and in the "Phoca Gallery Category List Layout" is missing the image of the category even if the "Display image instead of folder icon" is set to "Yes".

This is the page with problem:

The image is showed correctly in a subcategory with other subcategories (in 2.7.1 and in the 2.3.x):

Do you know if there is a new settings in order to show the images?.

No, but perhaps your Phoca Gallery Parameters are overwritten at:
Backend--> Menus --> Your Menu with link to Phoca Gallery component --> Link to Phoca Gallery Component --> Menu Item: [ Edit ] --> Parameters (Component) --> Category View Settings (Categories above Images) -->
Display image instead of folder icon=(should be)Use global

I fear this isn't the solution as I encounter the same problem and my menu items are all at global setting.
Right after the update 2.71 the sreen went blank.http://svommoord.slclubsite.nl/index.ph ... &Itemid=79 Make your choice to see the (blank) result.

I don`t think that your problems are the same. pk825 is missing his images in categories view. (there are only the folder icons) category view work propper.
You get blank pages when you want to show category view....

you are right, I see the page perfectly except that I have the standard category icons instead one of the pictures I have uploaded. Before 2.7.1 it works also in the first page, now only in the subcategory page.
I try to use the link in order to get php error message.

I try to use the link in order to get php error message.

You can do this, but I don`t think that you will have success.
It`s for blank screens like DiepFreezeR have.

Ok, I don't care about error message. I enable for a test the Debug Mode and I get the query (there is a similar query for every catogories):
SELECT a.id, a.filename, a.exts, a.extm, a.extw, a.exth
FROM jos_phocagallery AS a
WHERE a.catid = 17
AND a.published = 1
ORDER BY RAND()
LIMIT 0,1
It the same query I got in the subcategory page and it seems correct: it get a random picture from the category.

Any suggestion?

Backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Parameters --> Categories View Settings (List of Categories) --> Image Size Beside Category Name=Medium (or is it set to Medium Folder Icon?)

It is set to "Medium Folder icon with shadow", I change to "Medium with shadow" and it works!!!!
