this is a part of joomla! Try to install install a current translation into your language.

Thanks, I already have joomla! translation installed, but the pagination is still in english...

Already solved this, I had installed language files for back-end only, so I installed the front-end translation, put an extra string DISPLAY NUM into the main language file and that solved the problem...
