Uploading files with greek filenames

Post by zinobios »

When uploading a file with greek filename i see only the extension of the file (.txt .gif .pdf ...)
How can i upload files with greek filenames ? Is this possible ?
The collation of my database is utf8-general-ci

Do you have the same problem using Joomla's Media Manager?
Download Phoca Download Menu Module for listing Sections or Categories.

I don't have a solution. A brief Google search seems to point out this problem affects more than just Joomla or Phoca Download.

Have you tried uploading the files via FTP then adding them to the system? Again, just trying to gather more information.
Download Phoca Download Menu Module for listing Sections or Categories.
