Re: Can't browse and open folders
Has anyone found a solution to this issue yet? I have been having this same issue and cannot find a solution. Hopefully it can be fixed soon or I will have to switch to another product. I have been running Joomla ver 1.5.14 and Phocadownload 1.2.2. I really like the product and would hate to move to another. All my symtoms seem to be the same as indicated.

Re: Can't browse and open folders
Got it for me.
I am using J1.5.9 and PD 1.2.2
The ftp permission, by the way, can be rewritten by components when you saved your details in the main configuration. Components are overwriting it and it works when you leave it on no - normally with every component.
So I was figuring out my probs and check server permissions, as you guys did as well.
The source folder I wanted to change and set it up as shown in the description, just for proofs^^, shows /www/root/folders/to/your/side
So alright, in the file area the files are layed down in myfolder/eg.pdf - even if the component does right. In that way there is missing a slash ("/") in one way. The description over the source PD was confusing me a bit in that!
When I filled it in the change rootpath it worked well, all subfolders are available to open and so on.
By the way I found out, that the preview on the frontend isn´t work when the subfolder´s aren´t defined in the admin´s panel at "preview: myfolder/eg.pdf". When I put my rootsource manually in the extensions file-permissions, eg. pdf-downloads/myfolder/eg.pdf - than it works. Maybe there´s an other cause for it, just wanted to tell it btw.
Great work on this component and the others, Jan.
Vote for it, dudes!
