Error while installing xmap for phoca download

Good day all...

I use Joomla 1.5.8 and latest version of xmap (1.2)
after that i tried to install xmap for phocal download, but after I clicked Upload and Install button, then I got this error messages:

what is exactly wrong?

I'm not sure what is causing the problem. Seems like a Xmap issue. If you Google it you will find several reports about this problem - for various Xmap extensions.

Don't think it' specific to Phoca Download Xmap extension. It's something with Xmap's extension installer. You did use the Xmap extension installer, I assume!?

I'll try to see if I can find anything, but I think your best bet is to post a thread on Xmap's forum for help.

I just installed this plug-in, after first getting the same error as above. The thing is that XMAP has it's own installer for extensions.Just go to components -> Xmap -> extensions and install it there.
