Phoca Cart dutch translation

I searched all over but i can't find it. Is there a dutch translation to Phoca Cart the latest version?

There is Dutch translation which is available to download:

Compatibility: 3.x 4.x

Would be nice if you'll have updating the translation pack to the latest version of Phoca Cart.

Thank you for your reply. However, I am using Joomla 6 and Phoca Cart 6, and I don’t think the language files you mentioned support these versions of Joomla and Phoca Cart.

At the moment, I am translating the English language file into a Dutch one myself, using AI. Does anyone know how to install this .ini file once it’s ready?

Just copy & paste the two language files:

• nl-NL.com_phocacart.ini

• nl-NL.com_phocacart.sys.ini

into your language folders:

• /language/nl-NL

• /administrator/language/nl-NL

or create an additional manifest file:

• nl-NL.com_phocacart.xml

which then handles the installation in Joomla.

nl-NL should be set as default language for front- and backend.

Thnkx for your quick reply. Is it also possible to use only the front-end in dutch? Only change the file in the /language/nl-NL file i think.

No, unfortunately it’s not that easy to separate. Many Phoca Cart strings are used multiple times, and both in the frontend and in the backend.
