new window, new tab, lightbox options

hi,
I have phoca download working, and its great!

Right now, I can use direct link which opens PDF in same tab, or i can have it download the file from the page.

However, I would like to know if it is possible to download the file (which are PDF's) in a new window or new tab? Also, is there the ability to make it download the PDF inside lightbox ?

With this patch, you might be able to do the new window / new tab functionality by creating menu links. Otherwise, I don't think this is in the works. This is not an official statement as I am not on the project. It is just from my observations on these forums.

Do i have to create a separate menu link for every file then ???

At this time, I would say yes a new menu item would be required with the patch I mentioned. Or you can search the component to see where the link is created and add target="_blank" to the html anchor code tag.
