It's really strange but no images show at all for the Phoca gallery at the backend. Clicking on Images in the Phoca Gallery Control Panel brings up the list of images and all their details but no thumbnail just a list of clickable 'Enlarge Image' which when I click brings up an Error: 404 Page not found message.
This is weird because the images are there. They're in the \phocagallery folder under \images.
To add to the weirdness...
When I select Media under Content I find no image shows at all... only the file names in huge letters. I can only guess there's a setting somewhere that is triggering this... but how to find it???
Help!!

Re: images not showing anywhere
Hi,
go to: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Control Panel --> Options --> Thumbnails --> Thumbnail Generation Settings -->
and set:
Enable Thumbnails Generation=Yes
Then go to: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Images
and the missing tumbs will be created.
Kind regards,
Benno

Re: images not showing anywhere
Thanks for the suggestion. That setting was already set to 'yes'. That's why I find it all so strange.
I thought I'd generated thumbnails yesterday but checking just now I find that only a few of the folders with images have a \thumbs folder. These do not show in either Phoca gallery or in Media. I can view the file in File Manager from cPanel so know they're there and I can view the images.
Another weird thing is that initially I was able to see some images in articles. For example on https://www.halbi.org/about the image used to show but now there's only a place holder.
There is an issue with the the template which I have not yet been able to fix. I have been seeking help on the Joomla forum. I originally used Protostar and this sort of worked when I upgraded to J4. Now Cassiopeia has taken over and I'm unable to select anything else. Somehow it became the 'parent' and I haven't yet found out how to remove that. It's possible that a lot of my problems relate to that problem. Or maybe my whole J4 is screwed up. I wish I'd never upgraded...
Blessings,
Fran

Hi,
try to go again to: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Images
Then choose a category with not created thumbnails und press 'Recreate Thumbnails' button.
Kind regards,
Benno
