Version 4.5 - default.css ignored?

Have just upgraded my site from Joomla 3.10 to 4.2

With the old installation I had content in default.css of Phoca Gallery.
If I store the code in the new installation (Phoca Gallery 4.5 Styles default.css) there cant be seen any changes.
Is the file ignored, or have the code to be adapted?

Had created a new, fresh joomla 4.2 site only with Phoca Gallery as addon. Same situation - seems not to be an issue of migration-part.

Have not found a entry in this direction here in the forum.

The code has 312 lines, and I don't remember the source and maybe copyright. So I would not post it here.

Hi, is the default.css enabled in CSS styled?(see Phoca Gallery administration).

Hi, default.css is/was activated. Have not found that there is an additional point to activate - neither in administration guide, nor in the settings.

But I found a download-entry for 4.51 with contains Themes-standard. Have implemented and activated it. There is, what I want and seems there is no need for separate changes (for me) :-)
