Download button not working (Error while downloading file)

Hi i'm using Phoca Gallery 4.3.4 with Joomla 3.7.0.
When someone tries to download an image with the "download button" the error is "Error while downloading file"

The images are hosted on both facebook albums and picasa/google albums (same error).
The urls looks like https://www.MyUrlChanged.com/multimedia ... download=2

Any ideas what could cause this error?

Hi, do you have it somewhere live. This can be caused by many different parts. Like some limits on the server, or e.g. the links are not accessible, or they limit the access for direct download (when they are on external server like Picasa or Facebook), etc.

When you see errorLog on your server, do you see there any error regarding download feature?

Hi Jan, thanks for your response. I'm getting no errors on the page (with htaccess errors at ON) or in the logs. The Http access logs says http200
Url: https://www.akcsteedshooger.nl/multimedia/fotos

I will try to upload to a local album to see if the problem is also there.
Update: Download of local pictures are working... so it could be related to Picasa/Facebook albums.

Hi, yes, this seems to be some access problem, like the images the program cannot access directly

At the moment, i cannot add new Facebook photo's because of a problem with the API so i cannot test anything.
I will disable the download function for the albums.
