Change the language

Hi,

I've installed phocaguestbook and it is working well but in english.I've downloaded the 2 ini files for my language but i don't know where to put them exactly.Please guide me to solve this problem.

upload the files to:
language/xx-XX
adminstrator/language/xx-XX

where xx-XX is your language (so for German files it is de-DE)

Hi carolien

Are you meaning the Joomla ADMINISTRATOR and LANGUAGE or those of the component.Please specify more clearly your answer.

Hi,
I really don't understand your answers.Please should I put the language 2 ini files in component directory or Joomla directory.Specify exactly where and many thanks for this fine component

joomla directory:

[root]/language/xx-XX
[root]/administrator/language/xx-XX

Hi,
I uploaded the ar-DZ folder to the joomla folders you specified but my guestbook is still in english but I want him to show in arabic.I am really confused on this issue.

Hi,

you need to set the default language of the Joomla! website to your language. in extensions >> language manager
