Category view: Random thumbnails won't show

Hi,

I have a weird problem: On a certain project where we use phoca gallery not all thumbnails will show up. When I refresh the page other thumbnails won't show and thumbnails that won't show before suddenly appear. When I click on a "broken" thumbnail, i.e. on the default phoca no_image.png, then the correct image is displayed.

I dumped the object variable and I can see that "linkthumbnailpath" really is linked to the no_image.png. After a page refresh suddenly the correct linkthumbnailpath ist shown.

It seems that the function which loads the thumbnailpath ist somehow broken?

Would be great to hear someone with a solution

did you active: Enable Thumbnails Generation?

Hi Christine,

of course thumbnail generation ist enabled.

As I mentioned I can see the thumbnails but there are always certain thumbnails on every page load that won't show. Have a look at:

Try to hit your browser's refresh button a couple of times and you will see that on every page load some thumnails will show up, others won't.

I tried to recreate all the thumbnails (altough they are all there... I can see them via FTP). I even tried to delete all images and start over... always the same issue. I'm stuck.

Any ideas?

OK, solved it by myself.

I had to uninstall Phoca Gallery completely and reinstall, create all categories and images and now it works... no idea what was wrong...

Den Grund weiß ich jetzt natürlich nicht, könnte mir vorstellen, dass Du vielleicht nach der Thumbnailerstellung eine Größenveränderung gemacht hast?
