Neverending topic: thumbnail resizing

I would like to resize my medium thumbnails let's say from 100x100 px to 200x200 px. According to manual ("Global Configuration - Thumbnails, Modal Box, Popup Window Resizing") I have deleted all thumbnails from /images/phocagallery/thumbs directory and changed settings in Menu » Main Menu (e.g.) » Phoca Gallery Categories (e.g.) » Parameters - Component » IMAGE WINDOW SIZE SETTINGS LABEL from 100 to 200. When I go to Components » Phoca Gallery » Gallery, new thumbnails are created, but their size is still 100x100 px. Only thumbnail borders in Category view in frontend are displayed larger (as for 200x200 thumbnail). What should I do to have medium thumbnails in the right size (200x200 px)? What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

the creation of thumbnails takes the global settings in components >> phocagallery >> controlpanel >> parameters.

The size of the boxes is determined in menu >> your menu >> your phocagallery menulink >> component parameters.

To set them right you have to adjust the sizes in both places. You also should change the shadow to shadow 2 (I think - one of those shadows is made for 200x200).

On my to do list is still writing a guide how to resize thumbnails... but I don't have time yet...

Thanks for Your interest and help, but in my backend there is no such menu structure as You are describing (components >> phocagallery >> controlpanel >> parameters). I'm using Phoca version 1.8.8 beta and I've got Components >> Phoca Gallery and there I've got only:
>> Gallery
>> Categories
>> Themes
>> Info

When I'm in Gallery there is Preferences icon on the right (near Multiple Add) and it opens modal window with Configuration, but this configuration is (looks like) the same as in Menu » Main Menu » Phoca Gallery Categories » Parameters - Component.
Any ideas?

Hi,

yes, the configuration in gallery (which looks the same) is the one you need to have. There you have to set the sizes of the thumbnails too.

By the way ... I think by helping me You have just written a guide "How to resize thumbnails". All You need to do is few copy and paste operations - right?
