Is this the correct way to set up Digital Downloads? When I set my base price at say, $28, as it displays on the item's page, when a person goes to add it to their cart, they get a price of $56. Is there no way to set the price to a "Fixed" price? I don't want it to add the price to the Personal Use cost, I just need for it to tell the person that the price is $28.

(I tried using img and /img but the system said I can't use certain BBCodes)
The $56 you see at the top of the product is WRONG, it should only be $28. I don't need $28 added to all of the different tiers.

Also, how do I stop it from cropping the image like this? It's a portrait image, not a landscape image.

Hi,
Regarding thumbnails:
Set 'Crop Thumbnails=None' in Phoca Cart Options:

and set image sizes as you need here:

Delete old thumbs and recreate with new sizes
Kind regards,
Benno

Re: Digital Downloads (and other questions)
Thank you @Benno for that explanation. However, I have one image that is portrait that simply will not upload in portrait orientation. I have deleted and re-built the thumbnails, but it still comes out in landscape mode. I guess I'll just have to remove it and try it again somehow.
Also I noted during setup that if I set the option to put the images/thumbnails into their own alphabetized folders starting with the first letter of the filename, it still saves them at the root /images/phocacartproducts level, not in any of their own folders.

Re: Digital Downloads (and other questions)
Do you have any thoughts about the first question I brought up, about the total price ADDING to the BASE price? There isn't any place to put a "Fixed" price. For example, $28 base price, adding to cart from Tier price of $150 ADDS $28 to the $150 price tag, ending up in a price of $178. I can't have this. I have a workaround though, I have removed the "Add to cart" button and the base price display under the image and only allow potential purchasers to add the price from the tiered drop-down, which adds the correct price. Ideally what I'd like to do is to be able to show the base price under the image. But if the purchaser can't see the price of the image up front, chances are he will not click on the thumbnail image, and when/if he does, he will get a big surprise when he sees the price of the base image, and will leave the site thinking the going-rates for digital downloads are too expensive and I will lose a sale.

I cannot confirm that. Phoca Cart creates the thumbnails in the subdirectory of your choice, e.g. in:Also I noted during setup that if I set the option to put the images/thumbnails into their own alphabetized folders starting with the first letter of the filename, it still saves them at the root /images/phocacartproducts level, not in any of their own folders.

Re: Digital Downloads (and other questions)
OK, it works in Sandbox mode OK, but when I click "Return to Merchant" on the Paypal confirmation page, it takes me back to my site, and I see a Download Link. When I click that, it goes to the Download page, but there are no files to download. On the Attributes tab for each of the tiers, I've filled in the same file for each tier in all 3 "Image Small", "Image Medium", and "Image Large" fields, and also in the Download File field, but the image isn't there. It also logs me off my session, and when I log back on as me, I go back to the Downloads menu item and it says "There are no files to download". What now?
