Newsletter function

Phoca Email 5.0.0

I have installed Phoca Email and enable it in Options. Created Email list.




In Phoca Cart options I enabled Newsletter function and set to be shown in Checkout view.




Subscription is set to be auto activated but I don't get any subscribers in Phoca Email Subscribers list



Did I miss something?

Yes I did..Even when I edit order and set subscription on, subscription list in Phoca Email does not change.

I now understand, the newsletter does not work for guest users, there is no problem with guest users and Phoca Email but in Phoca Cart internal table where we store if the user clicked on newsletter.

Try to test this version:

It is possible to store the newsletter info into Phoca Email. We need to update documentation to inform that in case of guest users, there will be no info about newsletter subscription in Phoca Cart.
