Link wont stay open in new window.

I am using Phoca download for my files. I have sett the download link target to _blank.
The link opens inn a new window, but it won't stay open?

How can i make it so that it stays open in the new window or popup ?
I am using chrome.

Hi, can I see the site where it occurs? Is this link to e.g. file view or another link? If the link goes to some server which only adds some file to download, then it is managed by this server so such feature cannot be used in such case.

Hi, the site is password protected so I cant show you. But it used to work with the former component. The link is for a file located in a folder outside the public_html, on the same server.

Anyway if the link goes directly to download, then the target: _blank is in collision - as in fact when directly downloading, no windows is used.
