more than 10 000 pix in phoca back office crashes PLEASE HELP!!!

HI,
I have a huge issue with my phoca gallery :
I have about 10 000 photos (and more to come) in my phoca gallery. Everything was running ok but now, the back office don't respond anymore. I can access the back office for phoca and use everything correctly. Only if I click on the "images" to display my images, it takes so long for the system to bring out all the images that the serveur blocks out and I get an error message saying "
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, istrator/index.phpCONTENT_LENGTH0r/www/sites/zevw/public_html/administrator/index.php and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

I indeed contacted the serveur and set up the php ini to maximum with allowed time but nothing does it and the script seems to take too long
PLease help out, is there anyway to ease up the loading process and diplay only preselected images or from categories or else instead of bringing out all the images???

Hi, go to info tab in Phoca Gallery and see if you have enabled recommended settings.

If you have so many photos, I will recommend to enable pagination thumbnail creating. It means, thumbnails will be created per page (e.g. you list 100 photos on page and 100 thumbnails will be created, then you go to another page). Yes you need to do thumbnails step by step but your server will be not slow because instead of checking 10.000 items, it will check only 100.
