Categories View listview problem

Hallo all,
i'll try to write in english, but please dont blame me if it's wrong .
First of all: thanks for this incredible Work you have done for free, it's realy usefull and a great work

I hope you can help me with a little problem I have in your "Gallery 4.0RC" on one of my HPs.
I have tried to search for this problem but not found anything and I have read this "Global Configuration (Parameters - component in menu item)" before posting; but nothing helps .

Problem: I want to have a list of the categories shown like in the Dokumentation; so one column, picture left and text right. Also it would be nice, if there were no box around the thumbnail and the text in the template-syle...

I have no idea if it's a bug, or if i had configured something wrong. So Im lucky for every hint you can give me

PS This "bug" was also existing in 4.beta ...

Hi, such views were removed in version 4.0.0 (because there were cleaning of the code)

For now you can do it per CSS.

I have added this into feature request list (displaying categories view: image -> text)

Thanks for this tipp, but I'm a noob with css but perhaps know someone who can do it for me if i give her some more informations.
What is to do to revive this List-view? In which files are changes necessary? Can the code be copied of an old Phoca-Gallery-Version?
