category information pages takes ages to load ?

i have upgraded to the latest version, but if i go into the categories listing page, the list of categories loads quickly as normal, but if i then click on a category title the pages takes on average 60 seconds to load ?

If i then alter the category title and click save, it saves in seconds as it should, but if i then click on the next category title to edit its title the page again takes 60 seconds to load ?

??? there is only one new field to edit in version 2 - hits, but it should not do such problems ???

i had a look at the topic, i had a look in the parameters and Clean Thumbnails is already set to 'no'

But the same as those people i also now have a lot of categories ?

Maybe this can be problem, in the edit area, all categories names will be loaded and added into an select box, there is a check function which checks the parent or sub status of the category (so if 01 category is a parent of 02, then 02 should be not displayed as possible parent category of 01) ...

I will take a look at it...

please let me know when you have worked it out as currently i can only edit them using phpmyadmin !

I am trying to optimalize it, but there are some problems still (because the checking of categories can be problem) don't no if optimatization will help
