Post by michelmin »

Hello everyone, first I apologize for my English, I'm Spanish. I have a problem with picasa.
my version is 3.0.2 and jommla phocagallery 1.7, I have activated all the requirements of php. my Picasa account
and the album is admin@elejimos.com casacolon, trying to upload to a category gives me the error about not finding the album, I've tried different IDs with different users picasa and always gives me this error, but if I do not Authentication Key tells me "Save failed with the following error: Connection to Picasa not created. There are the Picasa Connection Problems User or not was found. Check the User field. Check if the album is published. if it is not published unlisted But , check your authentication key. "

Can you help?

Hi Jan, I get the same error message.

Save failed with the following error: Connection to Picasa not created. There are connection problems or the Picasa User was not found. Check the User field. Check if the album is published. If it is not published but unlisted, check your authentication key.

Now when I put my Picasa gallery on public then I can download the images from my gallery fine and dandy. However after I put it back to private again and fill in the authentication key I get the above error :/

Do I fill in the whole url in the authentication key or just the code that comes after:

"?authkey="blablabla

I tried using the whole url as well as the part after ?authkey= and I not seem to get it working. Is there anything special I missed about the private settings in combination with authentication or am I a noob once more :o

Read many posts but couldn't find what might cause this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, no idea if you have missed something about private settings :-( If you have recheck all the tips in the documentation, then really no idea what can be wrong there :-( :-(

Maybe try to search similar posts in this forum as mostly users described what was wrong on their servers.
