404 errors when click on download

i am having issues in my Joomla 3.0 moved from 2.5.. using a third party (sp transfer) everythings looks good however i get a 404 page not here when i cick to download file.. thinking that it was the install, i tried creating new files and uploading new pdfs.. still the same error please help

no i did not.. maybe I will try that. but before I do.. all of the data is in the new database the folders are where they should be and files are there.. can't see what could be wrong.. but one thing to note.. when I create a new file and load up a totally new pdf file to download i GET THE SAME..so it is not just the migration it is any new file as well

Hi, then maybe there is some wrong path set - in Options, or in whole Joomla! (maybe all is in new folder but the file are searched in root)
