Bug of image add buttons

Hi,

the buttons to add images don't work properly for me if all pictures are displayed. Then they only reload the actual page. If I display only e.g. 50 then they work again.

Hi, which buttons you exactly mean? Can you paste a screenshot of what you exactly mean?

I don't think a screenshot will help since actually nothing is happening.
In the control panel under images:
the buttons: +new, multiple add, edit, recreate thumbnails (the others I didn't try) just reload the side if I display all pictures (more than 100).
If I only display 50 or 100 they work as expected.

Hi, then, maybe there is some javascript error, when you click the button, try to check the javascript console, if there is no javascript conflict

no conflicts are occuring. I tried with and without Jquery easy.

Hi, hmmm, so e.g. if you select all images on the site and click on "recreate thumbnails" - nothing happen? No javascript error? No message after clicking the button?

ok honestly, I didn't try running recreate thumbnails when selecting all pictures (don't want to wait forever:). But definitely +New, Multiple Add, edit (with selection) and recreate thumbsnails (with few pictures selected) just reload the page.
The only message in the console is

Navigated to xxx/administrator/index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=phocagalleryimgs

Hi, it is not necessary to recreate all thumbnails, it is about testing the button, you can display only 5 images on the site. Did you test it with different browsers?

yes, with 5-100 pictures to display it works as expected. Only once I choose to display all the buttons just reload the page. I tested at least Firefox and Chrome.
However, I just noticed that Firefox displays an error in the console (chrome not? and it is in german):

Leerer String an getElementById() übergeben.

Hi, not sure but the error can break all the javascript on the site, so this needs to be solved first (just try to find where it occurs)
