Default settings (Parameters - component in menu item)

There are some settings in Phoca Guestbook you can change. You can find them here:

Components » Phoca Guestbook » Items » [Parameters] button. But if you have created 'Menu link' for Phoca Guestbook, you must change the parameters in:

Menu » Main Menu (e.g.) » Phoca Guestbook » Parameters - Component. Parameters component settings override the default component settings, so you must make changes here, if you want these changes to be displayed.

You can change the following parameters:

Require Title	If yes, visitor must add a title
Require Username	If yes, visitor must add a username
Require E-mail	If yes, visitor must add an email address. If not, visitor need not to add an e-mail address but if he does, his email address will be checked (to see if it contains '@' and '.')
Require Content	If yes, visitor cannot leave a content field empty
Registered Users Only	Only registered users can add a message (other visitors will not see the Phoca Guestbook form)
Font Color	Color of all fonts used in message boxes (title, name)
Second Font Color	Color of date in message box
Background Color	Background color of message box (background of title and name area)
Border Color	Border color of message box
Display Form	Set if form should be displayed or not. If the form will be hidden, then link to this form will be displayed (clicking on link will display it).
Form position	Position of Phoca Guestbook form. It can be positioned above message boxes or below message boxes
Forbidden Word Filter	'*' will be displayed instead of forbidden word (string), e.g.: 'car' ==> car --> , carefully --> **fully
Forbidden Whole Word Filter	'*' will be displayed instead of forbidden word. Only whole words will be changed, e.g.: 'car' ==> car --> *, carefully --> carefully (no strings, only whole words will be changed)
IP Ban	You can ban IP(s). Visitors with banned IP(s) cannot add a message
Maximum Characters	Protection against long text. Only e.g. 2000 characters will be saved in database. But don't forget that e.g. URL link 'link' has no 4 characters but e.g. 30 (link)
Maximum URL	Maximum of URL(s) which will be displayed in message box. If visitor leaves messages with e.g. 50 URL links, only 5 will be displayed as URL links. All other will be displayed as text only.
Enable CAPTHCA	The CAPTCHA image verification can be enabled or disabled.
Standard Captcha Characters	Set characters which will be displayed in Standard Captcha.
Math Captcha Characters	Set characters which will be displayed in Math Captcha.
TTF Captcha Characters	Set characters which will be displayed in TTF Captcha.
Captcha Displaying Method	Set Joomla! method of displaying Captcha image.
Enable Javascript Editor	Enable or disable Javascript (TinyMCE) editor.
Table Width	Set table width (table in which the editor is displayed).
Editor Width	Set editor (textarea) width.
Editor Height	Set editor (textarea) height.
Display Name in Message	You can display or hide name (username) of an user in message boxes.
Display Email in Message	You can display or hide email of an user in message boxes.
Date Format	Set Date format.
Display Input field Name in Guestbook Form	You can display or hide the input field 'Name' in your guestbook form. If you hide this item, it will be not required.
Display Input field Email in Guestbook Form	You can display or hide the input field 'Email' in your guestbook form. If you hide this item, it will be not required.
Username or Name	If user is logged on, his username (name) will be displayed in input form field and in message box. You can select if username or name of an user will be displayed
Review Message	Message will be displayed after administrator will review it.
Send Email	After message is added, email will be sent to administrator.
