[Solved] No Captcha!

Post by iBram »

Hello,

I have installed Phoca Guestbook, and it's the best i have ever had for Joomla. So i realy want Phoca. The only thing is that there is no Captcha, i verified everything in my setting, and it is on. I have found a lot of solutions on this forum, but no one did work! Can someone help me!

Bram

Hi Bram,
please check gd support
Requirements:

* Joomla!1.5 (stable or any later version)
* PHP 4.4.1 (or any later version) with GD library (graphics library for CAPTCHA creation).
Backend --> Help --> System Info --> PHP Information --> GD
without enabled gd support captcha will not work. :idea:
Kind regards,
Benno

Hi Bram,
last idea from my side is, please check the menu link to Phoca Guestbook.
--> Backend --> Menus --> "Your" Menu --> "Your" Guestbook --> Menu Item: [ Edit ] --> Parameters (Component)
perhaps these parameters overwrite your global parameters. :idea:
Kind regards,
Benno
