Upload fails to save file after J3 to J5 migration

I have migrated a website from Joomla 3 to Joomla 5 (5.4.0), running PHP 8.2.29, and updated Phoca Download to 5.1.3.
Now when I try to upload through 'multiple upload' tab the upload bar for the first file goes to 100%, but the file does not appear in the list (or on the server). If I change the 'Upload method' from HTML5 Uploader to HTML4 Uploader it then works. Why does the HTML5 Upload not work?
Thanks, Chris

Hi,
did you follow this migration guide?
https://www.phoca.cz/documentation/86-j ... o-joomla-4
Kind regards,

Hi
There was no warning that I needed to export and re-import all my PhocaDownload files, and apart from this reported upload problem, everything seems to be working fine. How do I get the upload to work with the HTML5 Upload again?
Thanks, Chris

Hi,
How do I get the upload to work with the HTML5 Upload again?
Unfortunately, I can't answer that question. I migrated my Phoca Download site from Joomla! 3 to Joomla! 4 following the instructions I linked to, and later performed the update to J5, and I didn't encounter the problem you described...
Do you receive any error messages when you set Error Reporting to maximum and activate Joomla! Debug Mode?
Kind regards,
Benno

When you enable console in browser debug mode, maybe there can be some Javascript error which can prevent from uploading the files per multiple upload feature
