Folder issue with multi image upload

Hi Jan,

There is an issue with sub-folders in the multi-upload.

Example:
I create Folder A in the multi-add screen.
Then I drill into Folder A and create another folder A-1 (which is a sub-folder of folder A).
Now, I want to upload images into folder A-1.
However, this doesn't work. When I drill into Folder A, the filenames below don't get refreshed (they are still showing all the root folders). As such, I can never get into folder A-1 in order to upload the images there. I am stuck only every being able to upload images to folders created at the root. I can't upload images into sub-folders.

Here are some screenshots of my specific example.
In multi-add, I created a root folder "Inozetek Piggy Bank"

Next, in multi-add, I created a sub-folder of the above folder called "Set 1". I know it got created correctly because when I look on the server it is there.

Now, when I drill into "Inozetek Piggy Bank", I still see all the root folders (I don't see the sub-folders of "Inozetek Piggy Bank"). Hence, I am not able to upload images into Set 1 - instead they will get uploaded into the root folder "Inozetek Piggy Bank".

Thanks,
Lee

Hi, do you get the same problem when you use standard naming of folders (no spaces, etc.):

Hi Jan,

Let me try it that way - I didn't know about this convention. Thanks.

Hi Jan,

After following the recommended convention, I was able to do this correctly. Issue is resolved. Thank you very much.

One additional question - am I able to rename / reorganize the existing folders (which contain images previously uploaded) or will that destroy the link to the existing images?

Hi, yes, links stored in database including the path (images including their folders). So when moving image, such connection will be lost.
