Hi there,
i've searched a long time but i can't find the option where i can change the order of images and categories of phoca gallery easily.
When i'm on /administrator > components > phocagallery > images the images are listed alphabeticaly but their ordering is like they have been created...
i want to invert this so the newer images are displayed first.
Another thing, same problem... the ordering of categories in backend is like they have been created...
so if I add a new category and i want to add a picture to that one... i cant find it in the alphabetical order of the DROPDOWN menues but at the last position...
How does the save order button works? How can i change the order via clicking on eg title and then save... the save order button then does nothing?
I highly appreciate any kinds of help greeting
helpless Phoca User

Re: Changing order of images/catogories in Backend
hi,
if you just want to change the order for the back-end lists, just click the column headline to sort by the column (ID in your case), click again to reverse sort.
the save order button is only displayed, if you order the list by that column. items can then be moved up or down individually (using the little arrows next to the number, no save needed), or by typing in the numbers how you'd like them to be ordered and clicking the save button.
ordering for the front-end depends on the corresponding setting in the phoca gallery options.
regards,
rk
