Image appearance

I have installed the photo gallery along with the slide show Nivo. I have 1 image and it worsks but the image is not inside the slide show its on top of it. I have the image the same size as the slidshow. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated. I attached and image of what it looks like. I just put a black age in for the meantime so you could see it.

did you check this issue for testing with a joomla 1.6/1.7 standard template like beez_20?
