Large picture size

when one clicks on a thumbnail in the picture gallery, a larger view is generated. Can the size of that large picture be increased? I'm not talking about the thumbnail size, I'm talking about the large view picture. Thanks for any help!

You're talking about the large thumbnails, and yes the size of the large thumbs can be increased.

Sorry, that did not work for me.
I even went to another website where I had phoca gallery installed, but still no pictures since I saw that parameters can only be changed before uploading any pictures (thats' what a popup window told me). I changed the parameters to 1200 for large image width and 960 for large image heigth. What I got was the window 640 x 480 opened and showed part of my 1200x 960 pictures. Why doesn't the window open to 1200x960 when I change the parameters to that value?

Hi,
if you use an Iframe Method for Detail View, you should enlarge Detail Window Width and Detail Window Height too.

thank you for your help. I did what you said, in detail:

on one of my sites >> http://bvepiklc.fortythree.versio.nl/ (which is a test site) where I had only a few pictures uploaded, I uninstalled phoca gallery and re-installed it. First I went to the parameteers and changed the settings as follows:
Images and Window Size Settings
Large Image Width from 640 to 1000
Large Image Heigth from 480 to 750
Front Detail Window Width from 680 to 1062.5
Front Detail Window Heigth from 560 tof 875
Administration Detail Window Width from 680 to 1062.5
Administration Detail Window Height from 520 to 812.5

Then I uploaded 2 pictures 1000x750 pixels. Bingo! Pictures open in a larger window and show in 1000x750 size.

On this site >> http://www.ourpalazzina.eu I did exactly the same as here above, but: pictures open in a larger window but show in default 640x480 size. What could be wrong? I must say that on this site, before I uninstalled, were about 75 pictures uploaded. I will send you login details.

But there is still another problem: in the slideshow the pictures don't make a smooth transition. What could be wrong? I don't think because of the size of the pictures. I had that problem already before with the 640x480 size ...

I checked the parameters in the global configuration of your site, and all is well.

But there is still another problem: in the slideshow the pictures don't make a smooth transition. What could be wrong? I don't think because of the size of the pictures. I had that problem already before with the 640x480 size ...

I checked this with FireFox and and IE and can not see this issue....
Try to check this with an different pc.
