Changing Public Text Labels

Hi all.
New to Joomla and new to Phoca Guestbook but love it so far.
I'd like to change the labels of the guestbook that get displayed on my Joomla site. I don't want to change any of the underlying DB but just what a visitor sees. Is this possible?
Kind regards,
Stuart

So, somebody has an idea?
Thanks

Hi, sorry I don't understand what you mean?

Hi Jan,
What I mean is, if the box label says 'Name' then I'd like to be able to change it to read something like 'First Name' and those sorts of things.

I'm trying to do the same thing. I managed to change some labels in the language file, but for example the "name" and "write email" are still displayed in English.
What I want is to translate these labels to Portuguese BR, already downloaded the translation file on Phoca site but didn't work.
Thanks!

All the strings are set in language files
language\en-GB\en-GB.com_phocaguestbook.ini
for the frontend
and for the backend:
administrator\language\en-GB\en-GB.com_phocaguestbook.ini
if you rename the en-GB to your language and will enable your language for frontend, your modified strings will be displayed there.
