I downloaded the transparent theme for Phoca Gallery, but it will not install. It displays a message:

* Unable to write entry
* Unable to find Theme Install package

Of course I try to install the theme by using the specific "theme" category in Phoca Gallery component settings...

Also, in order to have the transparent theme applied everywhere, I check all three check boxes above the install path, right?

PS: I can't seem to find a demo of a gallery with the transparent theme installed...do you have any examples?

Ok I managed to install the so called "transparent" theme, but it was anything but transparent...I don't know where it how it got the name...

So I installed the "default" theme again...
...but unfortunately this was not the same theme that was installed as default with Phoca Gallery...

The icons for "details" and "download", especially, are different and not as nice looking...

But now, I have a bigger problem...I can no longer apply medium size thumbnails in the "Categories View"...it always displays small thumbnails, despite setting the parameters to use "medium".

How can I revert to the initial icons and make Phoca Gallery actually use the settings I set in Parameters with regard to the size of the thumnails in "categories view"?

Ok, I fixed the issue of not enabling medium size images of folders in Categories view...Here is the solution:

After installing the theme, the setting would default to "small with shadow" in Global Parameters. I changed those, but I did not see any change in the gallery's display.
The problem was that the setting in the menu link reverted from "Use Global" to the specific one that had been set after installing the theme. Actually, the same went for most if not all settings related to the image display in Category View.

I reinstalled the "transparent" theme - which is not at all transparent - configured it, but I really detest the changed icons for back buttons and especially for the download links and the details...
how can I revert to the previous icons, the ones Phoca Gallery had before I installed any themes (installing the default theme again, simply gave me another set of icons, different from the original) ?

Hi, just unzip the default Phoca Gallery ZIP file and copy all the images from

front/assets/images folder to your server:

components/com_phocagallery/assets/images folder.

I am not creator of the transparent theme, so cannot say, if all the icons are transparent
