Hi,
try to enable php error reporting.
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... rs-on-site
It must have a reason why settings are not stored.
Perhaps missing database table...

Kind regards,
Benno

Hi

I'll try your suggestion this evening, at the same time at https://www.phoca.cz/demo/phocagallery-plugin?start=6 I saw that Highslide JS (image only) is plug in ?

It is necessary to install it and the enable ?

Thanks
Paolo

No, you only need to install Phoca Gallery Component. It's true, Higslide JS is an extern library (as the most Phoca Gallery detail views are) but it's fully integrated in Phoca Gallery Component.

Hi, I checked the capability to modify PHP.INI >> not possible.

In the root of my web site there isn't the .htaccess, it is present in the administrator folder, I modified it but the backend isn't more reachable, so I restored the old one.

Just before to ask to ARUBA (my hosting provider) to enable the flags on PHP.INI is it possibile to follow another way ?
I.e. mysql structure dump with or without data ? In this way you can analyze better ?

Thanks in advance

Hi,
did you set error reporting to maximum insite your Joomla! global configuration?
backend --> Site --> Global Configuration --> Server --> Server Settings --> Error Reporting=Maximum
Then go to and set: Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Control Panel --> Options --> Display --> Detail View Settings -->
Detail Window=Highslide JS(Image only)
Then press Save & Close Button.
If there is an problem, you should receive a phph error message now.
Please copy this message and post it.

Kind regards,
Benno

Hi Benno,

I tried to use the suggestion , no error displayed.

Honestly I think that some goes wrong in my web site, just for example, in a parallel web site copy, I'm trying to update to Joomla 3.3.1 but the update available from "components" in joomla back end no update available is shown also using the short term option.

So if you have indication to proceed the investigation I'm here and happy to continue it with you, Phoca Gallery is really a beautyful component !

Thanks
Paolo
