It would be nice to have the following:

Albums in different categories. Admin creates categories, users log in and create albums within categories, then upload images to albums.

Under CB's User Menu, a link to "View My Latest Photos", then maybe a link to "View All Albums".

In CB user's Profile, a link to View Photos and View Albums

In the actual Gallery, links to Users' Albums, i.e. photos uploaded by registered users i.e. CB users.

Ability to add a link to one of my menus, "Site Users' Photos", which will lead to a page listing albums.

Phoca Gallery is perfect for my web.
Right now Iam missing few thing that can be clasified like CB integration, but can stay out of CB.

For users that registered on my web I need automaticly created folder for their photos/albums. Link into there should be available from user menu. So users can easy access this folder. Those pictures/albums could be linked to geo or other folders.

Hi, now user can access the control panel where he can add a category (own category - user's folder will be automatically created)

but if you want, some folder will be created while registration, then code in registration component (plugin or module) must be changed, not in gallery

so e.g. after user will activate account two actions will be done:

- folder will be created
- a category for an user will be created...(for the phoca gallery)

but this cannot be a default code in gallery, it needs to be done extra

now, when PG were released with 2.0.1 number, and when user can create his own category ( his own gallery), you should give options to integrate it with CB1.2.

there is simple way to integrate users gallery with CB ( one category per one user).

look at the typical plugin layout and mix it with plugin which shows category (in articles).



generally - script should made a folder for any new user gallery with that name (NICK-DIGITS ex crazyluki-12345) and there should be user images. you should give us access to limit category created by user (probably limit 1 category).

It would be great benjamin, let's see if Jan is going to find some time for PAYED development... I hope he is... by the way, menalto gallery already has such a function through a GSOC project (don't know if it is stable yet).
But this thread is going off topic, since the most important plugin would be for Community Builder!!

I use the option in User Menu--->New--->Control Panel---->Phoca Gallery User Control Panel Layout and copy the link "index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=user" an then go to CB--->tab management--->menu and in the First Sub-Menu Name I put "Personal Gallery" and on the First Sub-Menu URL: paste the previous link, so when a user access their profile he can have a menu link to Phoca Galley to create his/her album and the album is located on the main Phoca Gallery to public view

well, some basic integration with cb would be if unregistered user clicks on CP, the link to login or registration would lead him or her to com_comprofiler instead of com_user
