Hmm... as I am not alone with the problem, doesn't someone want to have a look at this?

Hmm, the problem is, Phoca Guestbook only sets link to tinymce javascript - the gifs are then linked form the tinymce code in Joomla! :-(

I have the same problem with the smileys.
Only the name of the smiley is shown in the entry. The path looks correctly.

Any help?

Are you able to see the smiley in the guestbook entry? I only see a SmileLaughingSmile in that entry. I see the icons of the editor too but not the yellow smiley in the entry.

Hmmm, I see now, the path is wrong there, copied and pasted to url and the image could not be found there, but why the editor stores wrong path, really no idea :-(

Same problem here.
As a workaround, this works for me:
  • create the required directories to get this path:
    http://www.your_website.com/media/editors/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/
  • copy all gif-files from
    http://www.your_website.com/your_joomla_directory/media/editors/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/xxx.gif
    to the new path
    http://www.your_website.com/media/editors/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/xxx.gif
  • refresh website or empty cache etc., the smileys should show now
Cheers
