Hi Jan
Sorry if this sounds stupid but how does that user, from a front end perspective, then add images into that category? If a user needs to setup a category from the front end they are only allowed to create one. If i set up a new category in the back end i can add them to the following:
Access right:
Upload and Add User Rights:
Delete and Publish User Rights:
Owner:
Only thing is that this then doesnt show in the front end. I need to give a user the rights to add images to more than one category. Am i missing something simple here?

Hi, there are different settings for different using of gallery.
In ucp user can use only one main category but a lot of subcategories - main category belongs to the user.
In category view users can upload images to other categories, to categories which don't belong to them, to all categories where the user has rights:

Hi
Sorry for late response, it would seem that their has been a few issues with the phoca site and i have been unable to get into the forum. Am i right in saying that you can be responsible for more than one gallery but you need to go into that gallery as opposed to directly editing from the UCP where you are assigned as owner of a gallery?
If this is the case im getting an error, when i try and upload images into a gallery that a user is assigned to...
Maximum size limit of all images reached. Image cannot be uploaded
How do i overcome this? I can still upload images into the main category so it seems like an error with an assigned category of sorts

Hi, you can set the limit sizes in parameters.
As frontend user you can have own UCP where you can create one main category and a lot of categories but you can get permissions to upload images to other categories.

Hi
Can you point me in the right direction for this? I can see where i can set the size limit of an image but i cant see any details for amount of images you are allowed to upload into a category? It doesnt seem to be the filesize thats the issue, it just wont allow you to upload any image into a category that you have access to

Hi, sorry for the missunderstanding, there is no limit to count of images but to size of all images.
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... -menu-item
it is limited by size for all images:
Maximum Size of all User's Images
it means, you can limit the space for users - if the images are small, user can upload more images than if they are to large.

Hi
IM not sure i follow. I can upload images into the category that the user has been assigned to no problem, its when i try to upload an image into another gallery that they have rights too. It doesnt seem to be a case that their are too many images in the system. The image i was trying to upload as a test was a very small image (140kb) i can upload this image into the category asigned to the user but when i try to upload to the category i have given him access right to i get that error.
I really need to get this resovled asap as i need to release the details to my client. If i give you access rights to the back end would this help speed the process up?

Does the other category set some limits?

Hi
Their are no limits set within the category that i can see. I can even see where you would set such a limit. Im really keen to get this boxed off asap now so i really need to push to get this resolved, sorry for the hassle. Like i have mentioned, if its easier for me to give you login details please advise and i can send them over to you.
