A couple of questions on configuring the gallery

Hi!
New to Phoca Gallery - its a nice component.
Use Phoca Gallery 3 RC4 on Joomla 1.61 and have some question.
Just look on the pictures i upload - then you see my "problems"
I think thats just an easy thing to configure, but after 2 hours of trying i gave up.

Maybe somebody can tell me where to chane this.

Hi,
I think I can help you with 2 of 3 issues you asked for.

1. backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Display --> Categories View Settings -->
delete the word Fotos from Categories View Description
Save your settings!

2. backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Display --> Categories View Settings -->
Displaying Style=Categories, images and description (float)
Save your settings!

Thanks for your reply.
Tip one does not function - cause there is nowhere the word "Fotos" to delete.

Tip two does work, but suddenly i don`t have a frame around the categories anymore...

Any help on this one?

may u called this menu item with Fotos ?

Can it be breadcrumbs ?

Yes, the menu is called "Fotos"
But how can i remove it from there?
Thats somehow the "title" isnt it?

If u have a breadcrumbs module, just disable for this menu item, or it can be a Page Title of menu iten

Menu Manager > Main Menu (or the name of menu that contains the Iten 'Fotos' ) > Fotos:

In Parameters (System)
Set 'Show Page Title' to 'No'

Done all you said, but still shows "Fotos"...

Hmm, strange, but i think i will have to live with that...

Its really strange,
Pls, press ctrl+u in yout browser (when in page of gallery) to show the source coude:
Than press ctrl + F to find the word 'Fotos' and paste here a set of tags <> around this

I am sorry - i dont understand exactly what you mean at the last sentence.

Here is what i found with firebug:
<div class="componentheading">Fotos</div>
When i remove "Fotos" via firebug its gone.

Very weird...
