I've just installed Phoca Download and created a licence in admin, but I cannot find where you enable the license so that it displays in the front end before people download docs etc.
Could not see it in the parameters or settings, so I assumed it supposed to just work when saved. But it doesn't
Also, How do you assign different licenses to different sections, or categories, or files?
I'm using version 1.3.3
Kindest regards

Re: License - Where do you enable it
Hi,
in the parameters of each file you find a pulldown menu where you can choose your created and published licence. By choosing it, you enable it.
So you are able to use different licenses for different files, if you like.

Benno

Re: License - Where do you enable it
Hi,
Thanks for the info.
My reasoning behind this is that if you allow front end uploads, say for different categories etc; there should be a way of setting a default licence. Otherwise, as admin if you have hundreds of users' uploading different files you have to open every file in the file manager and set the license for each one manually. That really is impossible.
Does anyone know of a way round this?
I was using DOCman commercial version which has this facility, but sadly lacks certain permissions settings.

I didn't think of looking there at all, mainly because I expected a setting in the Global settings.Benno wrote:Hi,
