Go into folder as default

Dear all,

For my website I have different folders for different years (in Categories View). When I now click on Photos on my menu tab, I first see all the different folders (so all the years). However, I would prefer it if by default, I will go to the folder of the current year and see all the images there (so one of the folders) when I click on the menu item. So this means, immediately go to Category View of one of the folders.

Is this possible with Phoca Gallery?

Hope I understand it correctly. Try to check the: OPTIONS

> Categories View > Display Subcategories: No
> Display Empty Categories: Yes

Thank you for answering. Unfortunately, this is not what I meant. My settings are already like you mentioned.

So I have 7 folders of different years 2018,2019,2020,2021,2022,2023. On my menu balk I have a menu item Photos.

Situation now: when i click on Photos, I first see all the folders of the different years. Then I can click on 2023.

Desired situation: when I click on Photos, I automatically am in the folder of 2023 and see all the photos and subcategories there. Only for people who want to see older photos can click back and go to another year

Does anyone know if that is possible
