How to enable image download only for specific categories

Hi,
I have installed Phoca Gallery 6.1.2 on my Joomla 6.1.2 website. The image download option is a general option for all the existing categories. Is there any possibility to customize the behaviour in order to enable the download only for specific categories (inheriting the functionality for the subcategories of the selected ones)?
