Step by step
- Test first: dab your chosen agent on a hidden corner of the spandex / lycra and wait 2–3 minutes to confirm no discoloration.
- White vinegar: mix one part vinegar with two parts water.
- Lemon juice: apply directly and let it sit in sunlight for a natural bleaching action.
- Baking soda: make a paste with water and let it sit before brushing off.
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry the surface fully so no residue film is left behind.
Do not do this
- Chlorine bleach. It can react with the stain or the material and cause discoloration.
