Hi,

I installed Phoca Gallery by FTP following the installation instructions properly. The backend Component works quite good. Now I tried to implement the Gallery into my frontend by creating a menu entry to Category-List.
But always when I choose any of the Menutypes by Phoca, I either get an 404-error (page not found) or get back to the Backend login and after logging in again the message "invalid token".

What can I do? Answers are possible besides english also in german.

As I said there still is no implementation in the main menu because I couldn't go that far.
Another try I recently started is to use the tree-module, you will find it underneath the main menu on the left side. The connection to my two test categories is working but then occurs another error - by clicking on one picture to show it in full size, the user is linked to the other category - very strange. Somewhere it says the category isn't marked as public, but I promise it is...

Did you create a menu link to Phoca Gallery, so there is some itemid which can be used for the creating of urls?

Just as I said I am not able to create a menu link to Phoca because when I choose one of the Phoca Gallery Menu Types there is always this 404-error. Or did I missunderstand you?
I'd like to send you a PN for further assistance but I'm not allowed to, yet.....

Do you get error while creating menu link to Phoca Gallery? If yes then this is an issue of Menu Manager in Joomla!

If no and you get an 404error in frontend, just try to disable SEF or try to make such menu and paste the link here to see the url (if it is right or not)

Exactly, this is my problem. How do I solve it?

By the way - I just installed Phoca Download, too, and it works great!
So it can't be the Joomla installation itself...

No idea there As this is some problem in Menu Manager in Joomla! so try to use debug mode, php error reporting, see errrorLog maybe some file is missing while installation (of Joomla! or of Phoca Gallery )
