Hye !!!
This post haven't been resolved and I've the same pb : I receive some 10 spam / day in my photo Guest Book.
I've found the tuto in this forum to activate Captcha : Go to Admin / "your" menu / "Your" Guestbook / Parameters (component) / Activate Captcha > (standard) !
But :
1. There is NO Option "Activate Captcha"

=> I think the post was talking about the nearly same "Enable Captcha" in which you can choose 7 options (Standart, Math, Ttf or Randoms...).
2. I have tested ALL options and NO CAPTCHA appears in my Website'Guestbook

[/list]
To check just go on :

Hope to find a solution quickly. My Guestbook is so spammed !!! Thanks for help !

Hi,
Did you check the requirements?
Requirements:
* Joomla!1.5 (stable or any later version)
* PHP 4.4.1 (or any later version) with GD library (graphics library for CAPTCHA creation).
Kind regards,
Benno
